Monthly Sampler and Ho-Ho-Ho! from Humble Quilts

Here is my monthly sampler from Two Thimbles Quilt Shop. So pretty huh? The blue and green are an unusual combination too. This line is Blue Dahlia by Paula Barnes printed under Marcus fabrics.

I'm the Angel Tree volunteer at my church and this is also what I've bene doing this "retirement" week! I have my final 2 packages to pick up today, then I'll start making arrangements for delivery.

Monthly Sampler from Humble Quilts

Here is my gor-ge-ous monthly sampler from Two Thimbles quilt shop. These are designed by Australia's Max and Louise. It is called Glenford Lodge by Andover fabrics.

I've got to get busy doing more sewing! These are beauties!

A very generous blog reader, Joyce, sent me this lovely quilt book by Kim Diehl. These little quilts are right up my alley! Thank again Joyce! I love it so much!

I'm in LOVE with this month's sampler! And I'm not a matchy matchy kind of quilter, but this group really is sweet together! It is called Marias Sky by Betsy Chutchian for Moda Fabric.

Monthly Sampler And More from Humble Quilts

I feel like I've been missing in action in blog land. I'm trying to squeak out as much summer fun as I can while the weather is still great!

After 4 days away in the mountains I arrived home to this lovely parcel of sampler fabrics from Two Thimbles Quilt Shop.

The fabric sampler this month is lovely and not from a specific line of fabric.

Lee is in a bit of transition closing the brick and mortar store (boohoo!) and waiting for shipments of new fabric. I'm very pleased with the fabric I received.

Monthly Sampler from Humble Quilts

My sampler arrived from Two Thimbles! WOW! Love these "Repro Reds" by Cheryl Johnson.

I've continued to take the old quilt apart and love seeing the blocks up close and personal!

I love that tiniest little zigzag print!

Some of you have received blocks from this quilt top that has seen better days.

I think the maker would be thrilled to know we are honoring her humble quilt and using the fabric she chose to put in this quilt top. I know I'm thrilled with these blocks! I hope you are too!

Sum..Sum.Summertime! Summer Sampler.. from Humble Quilts

I finally got around to opening my July sampler from Two Thimbles! The fabrics are Petite Perennials by Annette Plog. She has a new book out as well. These particular fabrics will not be available from Two Thimbles until August, unless you are on her sampler program.

These 2 are my favs from this month.

Now that the crazy heat wave is gone we are back to normal summer weather. This is tolerable! Here on the high desert we cool down at night and have lovely mornings.

Fabric Sampler- June from Humble Quilts

Gee, I didn't lay these beauties out like they deserve! This month's sampler is amazing!

7 of these are from Barbara Brackman's newest line Ladies Legacy and one from an earlier line of Barbara's. Many of you have asked about where you can get these. Two Thimbles puts these online in one month. She gives Fabric Sampler customers first chance at them with a discount. Lee has had to transition to so much online this past year and she has done a great job of it! Her website is HERE.

Monthly Sampler from Humble Quilts

Lee at Two Thimble Quilt Shop showed this on Instagam this past month and I knew I needed it! I asked her to set it aside and send it with my monthly sampler.

I'm not exactly sure what I'll do with it, but since we are now officially Wyoming property owners I HAD to have it!!

Here are my reproduction prints for this month's sampler. I love each one.

March Fabric Sampler from Humble Quilts

I received my monthly sampler from Two Thimbles Quilt Shop!

Isn't it lovely?! It is based on an antique English quilt from 1830's-1860's

It is called "The Midlands" by Deirdre Bond Abel of Hat Creek Quilts by Marcus Bros.
